I started playing around with flash for about 10 years now, and only got on to action script  about  3 or 4 years ago. The thing is I taught myself  by going through basic tuts, my goal was to make a character run across the screen using the keyboard. It was a big deal back then. Then I went onto platform games, but could never get it right, coz let’s face it, I was and still am a novice, jumping into the deep end.

With the basics I taught myself slowly became complex and I end up confusing myself. I have a very basic understanding of math and even less when trying to apply it. But thats not going to stop me. Just slow me down. Even then I don’t know how to optimize for optimal performance. I say if it’s slow on your machine, then get a faster one. If your connection is slow, get a better one. Just saying.
